GoBag PreppersThese terms apply to the GoBag Preppers mobile app (the "app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
GoBag Preppers is a planning tool, not an emergency service. It is not an official warning system, and alerts can be delayed, incomplete or missing. It does not give medical advice. In an emergency, call your local emergency number and follow instructions from local authorities.
Using the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Pro Plus
- Pro Plus is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and never renews.
- Payment is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. The price is shown in the store before you buy.
- Your purchase is tied to your store account. Use Restore purchases in the app to unlock Pro Plus on a new device signed in to the same account.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. If a purchase is refunded, Pro Plus features are locked again. Nothing you created is deleted: extra bags become read-only and Pro reminders pause.
- Pro Plus includes Pro Plus features we add in future updates. Features may change over time, but we won't put life-safety features (SOS, local emergency numbers, alerts for your current location, guides and backup restore) behind a paywall.
Your data
Everything you enter is stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping it accurate and for making backups. If you lose your phone, uninstall the app or forget your backup password, we can't recover your data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Third-party data
The app shows information from third parties, including the U.S. National Weather Service, USGS, GDACS, Open Food Facts and OpenStreetMap, and preparedness guidance based on Ready.gov. We don't control these sources and can't guarantee their accuracy, completeness or availability. Product data from Open Food Facts is available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Map search data is © OpenStreetMap contributors.
Emergency numbers in the app are checked against official sources, but numbers can change. Confirm the right number for your location.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that alerts, reminders or notifications will always be delivered. Your phone's settings, battery saving, connectivity and operating system can all stop them from arriving.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including reliance on alerts, guides, checklists or calculators. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
App Store and Google Play
If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. If you got the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Where these terms conflict with the store's terms, the store's terms apply to the extent of the conflict.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.
