Questions, answered.
Do I need an account?
No. There's nothing to sign up for. Open the app and start packing. Your data is stored on your phone, not on our servers. We don't have any.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Your bags, supplies, emergency card, family plan, guides and tools all work in airplane mode. Alerts need a connection to fetch new warnings.
Is Pro Plus a subscription?
No. Pro Plus is a single one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play. There are no renewals and no recurring charges, and it includes future Pro Plus features.
I got a new phone. How do I get Pro Plus back?
Sign in to the same App Store or Google Play account, open GoBag Preppers, go to the Pro Plus screen and tap Restore purchases.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Because nothing is stored on a server, you move data with a backup file. Pro Plus can create an encrypted backup; anyone can restore one on the new phone. Keep your backup password safe. We can't recover it for you.
Which countries are supported?
Checklists, supplies, the emergency card, guides and tools work anywhere, and emergency numbers cover many countries. Detailed weather warnings currently cover the United States; earthquake and global disaster alerts work worldwide.
Can I rely on it for emergency warnings?
Use it as an extra layer, not your only one. GoBag Preppers is not an official warning system. Keep your phone's government emergency alerts turned on and follow local authorities.
